Ellen Tumavicus is an artist, illustrator, and certified art teacher who has taught all ages in many educational settings in the U.S. and abroad.

During the COVID pandemic, she began making art videos for her online teaching and found that her students' skills and confidence blossomed by being able to follow along step by step and then were able to access the courage and trust

in themselves to add their own twists and creativity

to their work, in the privacy of their own spaces. 

​

Another fun surprise was that she often found parents

sitting a bit to the side of the zoom screen following along and making their own art!  So, she decided to launch this online art school as a way to continue to connect with artists of all ages all around the world, with no geographic limitations.
